Pros
- +12 ports, including four Thunderbolt 5 (Macworld)
- +Built-in 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD in this configuration (Amazon listing); 9to5Mac calls it the first Thunderbolt 5 dock with an integrated NVMe SSD
- +2.5Gb Ethernet plus SD and microSD card readers (Macworld, Amazon listing)
- +Macworld rated it 4.5/5 and says it will future-proof buyers for Thunderbolt 5

Cons
- −Premium price; it is Macworld's only listed con

How this score was set: it is the mean of 2 published outlet ratings on a 10-point scale (Macworld 4.5/5 = 9.0; AppleInsider 4.5/5 = 9.0; mean 9.0). Effectiveness, build safety, durability and value were not assessed separately, so each carries that mean and the composite equals it. Build safety is not a certified rating: we have not verified UL/ETL or equivalent certification.
