Pros
- +Intel Core Ultra 7 265F with an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB and 16GB of dual-channel DDR5-5200 (Amazon listing)
- +Its listing's PSU line, 500W Platinum-rated, matches its own RTX 5060 Ti configuration (Amazon listing)
- +Same 2025 Aurora chassis PCMag rated 4/5, with an audio jack, three 5Gbps USB-A ports and a 10Gbps USB-C port on the front
- +1-year basic onsite service warranty (Amazon listing)

Cons
- −PCMag's cons for the line: no AMD processor option, some proprietary components, and plastic rather than tempered glass
- −16GB of RAM and an RTX 5060 Ti; PCMag's review unit had 32GB and an RTX 5070 Ti
- −The 500W supply and CPU air cooling match what PCMag describes as the base Aurora configuration, below its liquid-cooled review unit
- −500W is the base supply; PCMag says stepping up to a K-series CPU requires a 1,000-watt power supply and 240mm liquid cooling
Score breakdown
- Expert consensus8.0
- Effectiveness6.5
- Build safety9.0
- Durability7.0
- Value8.0
Expert Consensus rests on one numeric rating (PCMag, 4/5, 2025-10-16), given to a stronger Aurora configuration (Core Ultra 7 265KF, RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB, liquid cooling), so Effectiveness carries a 1.0 deduction. Build safety is provisional: our 2026-10-03 sources showed no recall, safety, heat or failure reports for this product, but we have not yet verified its UL/ETL or equivalent safety certification, so the 9.0 is a placeholder, not a certified rating.
What the experts say
“The 2025 Alienware Aurora’s strong gaming performance, flexible configurations, and distinctive design make it a worthy midrange gaming desktop.”
“The base configuration also has a solid, non-transparent side panel, lacks AlienFX lighting, and relies on a 500-watt power supply and CPU air cooling.”
